Bring the family and come join us for Culture, Crafts, and Cuisine! Each month, starting in August, ESL students will share a little bit of their heritage at the library. Come learn about different cultures from around the world and listen to story time, enjoy activities and crafts, and snack on regional cuisine.
Our first Family Culture, Crafts, and Cuisine (Hispanic heritage) will be on Monday, August 9 at 6:30 p.m. in the Children's Programming room. Hope to see you there!

Tutor Training
The quarterly tutor training is coming up right around the corner. We've got a great bunch of tutors and we're always looking to add to the ranks. We're doing all we can to try to get the word out about our need for tutors. If you know anyone who would be interested in volunteering their time, please encourage them to consider becoming an ESL tutor for Largo Public Library.
The ESL training workshop will be held Saturday, July 24, from 10:00-4:00 and Saturday, July 31, from 10:00-4:00. New tutors will need to attend both workshop dates. Materials and refreshments will be provided.
Please register online or by calling Britney Hord at 727-587-6715 ext. 2501. Applications are also available at the circulation desk.
